NJZ LIGHTING GAINS THE FIRST UL844-C1D1 CERTIFICATE FOR EXPLOSION PROOF LIGHT IN CHINA
On Oct.24, 2016, the global safety science leader American UL company issued UL844-CID1 certificate of explosion proof light to NJZ LIGHTING, who became the first luminaires manufacturer in China receiving UL844-CID1 certification for explosion proof light.

Along with rapid development of petroleum, marine industry and mining industry, demand of LED explosion proof lights expands dramatically. As market survey said, worldwide market of explosion proof products develops promptly and the sales volume is estimated to increase from 0.1515 billion dollars in 2013 to 0.2481 billion dollars in 2020. Benefit from policy promotion, explosion proof appliances win the opportunity to boom. Take LED explosion proof light as example, it has more added value than common products due to high technical requirement and difficult test requirements. It needs to conform to higher explosion proof standard besides traditional safety requirement to successfully enter international market.

UL844-Class I, Division 1 and UL1598A certificate at present. The Defender series LED explosion proof light is able to work in the most hazardous location (Class 1,Division 1, -40℃-65℃). UL844-CID1 certificate is significantly different from global and IEC on explosion proof standards. Take explosion test as example, UL is much more strict on light fixture housing strength, one same housing needs to be tested 15 times in different explosive gas concentration environment instead of 3-5 times as global and IEC standards require. Besides, this light fixture adopts flat explosion proof type rather than S.A. type, which requires high process precision, excellent machine work and die-casting technique.
